Lunch:  stretching

Evening 1  I decided to wear the Hattoris because they don't rub on my achilles.  I was able to run 2.46 miles with minimal discomfort (less than when I ran on the Alter G).  I also don't feel any discomfort when I walk in the Hattori.

Evening 2 30 min eliptical/30 min weight training

I have a persistent trouble spot in my achilles... it comes and goes, but I definitely find that spending a minute or two flexing my foot back and forth before going to sleep and after waking up (but before getting out of bed) seems to help it loosen up quicker.

This is my 2nd injury to my achilles... 1st time for the left side of my body. It's a frustrating injury because it's a body part that is so crucial in any walking or running movement. I'm being really cautious with it. I've also found a little stretching helps with it in the morning. I'm using a bocce ball with a bent knee and swaying slowly side to side. That seems to get at it from all angles.

Hope you can recover from this achilles problem quickly! Sorry to hear about the injury.
